We’re nearly there – Jesus is approaching the last days before his death, but he still finds time to stop and rescue a little man who was HATED by everyone (remember what Jesus said about who our neighbour was!) .
This Jesus is for outcasts – does that speak to you today? Are you up a tree, hoping he’ll see you?
And then Jesus enters Jerusalem and like the flap of a butterfly’s wings that causes a tornado or the last snowflake that triggers the avalanche his entry starts the chain of events that will end in a tomb.
The great battle is coming. Jerusalem is already lost – Jesus can see that. But the great battle against Sin and Death stands on a knife edge.
